A simple plugin for WordPress that adds an unobtrusive “back to top” link to your site or blog. The link uses WordPress’ included jQuery to provide a slick UX, with the link subtly appearing after the page has been scrolled, and disappearing once the user returns to the top of the page. Additionally, a smooth scrolling animation is added when the link is clicked on.
You can see an example of the plugin at work on this site. Simply scroll down the page a little bit and you’ll see the link appear in the top right corner of the page. See the configuration options for more details on how you can customize the location and style of the link.
This simple addition to the wonderful Contact Form 7 plugin adds basic honeypot functionality to thwart spambots without the need for an ugly captcha.
The principle of a honeypot is simple — bots are stupid. While some spam is hand-delivered, the vast majority is submitted by bots scripted in a specific (wide-scope) way to submit spam to the largest number of form types. In this way they somewhat blindly fill in fields, irregardless of whether the field should be filled in or not. This is how a honeypot catches the bot — it introduces an additional field in the form that if filled out will cause the form not to validate.
The SEOSimple plugin automatically generates the meta description tag on page load by taking a customizable length of text from the start of a page’s content.
Should you already have a custom meta description assigned to the article (as set in the Metadata Information box in the article editor), the auto-generated tag is ignored and the custom one is used. Additionally, the plugin gives you several options for displaying your page titles, as well as the ability to easily customize the behavior of the plugin on the site’s front page.

Tired of Internet censorship? Is your site being blocked for having “sensitive” words? Then Censortive is for you. Use this plugin to replace those pesky words with their graphic equivalent, making them invisible to censorship robots.
Censortive uses text-to-image technology to convert user-defined ‘sensitive’ words into an image file that blends right into the flow of text. By changing the text into an image file, you effectively negate the censorship robots from being able to ‘see’ the offending words. Your readers, however, will be able to follow what you’re saying without a hitch.
NOTE: This plugin is obsolete. Use the SEOSimple plugin instead. This plugin automatically generates description meta tags from content to help with SEO. Currently the only parameter is the ability to set how long the description should be (default 200 characters).
